You have probably seen some bad video games and failed add-ons but these are the games and consoles that took the cake. Some even that crashed the market, bad decisions, or those that are such a failure that I just can’t resist adding them. Only 6 questions because I feel like it.

1. I cant make this one without mentioning the game that helped cause (and even if it didn’t cause it, it CERTAINLY didn’t help at all) the home console crash of 1983. Later to be, supposedly, dumped in a landfill starting a HUGE controversy. I don’t even need to mention the console for this one. What game am I talking about?

2. Nintendo has made 2 3D systems (3DS being the 2nd.) But they made 1 other that, along with breaking like glass, caused eye strain, stiff necks and headaches. Needless to say it wasn’t a success. What system is this?

3. I mentioned the PSX in the last video game TT. You probably never heard of it because it was only released where?

4. Nintendo released the arcade game Radar Scope in Japan where it was moderately successful. So they ordered 3000 machines for the U.S.A. . 1000 were sold and they were stuck with 2000. They grabbed some guy off their team and told him to re-program the game. It was a success. What game did they change it to using the same programming?

5. Apple made a deal with Bandai to make a computer/console. It was good to start but was released too late and by that time the Nintendo 64, Sony Playstation and Sega Saturn were already controlling. What was it called?

BONUS: How long is the average life span of a dollar bill?

Answers next Saturday!

Yeah yeah, I’m late, so sue me. Post your answers in the comments. The answers I give will be out the 19th. I don’t know what made me think of the civil war maybe it was the fact that I have been studying it in school. But I was looking for war trivia because it’s abundant. I have a bad feeling that at least one of these is going to be inaccurate (number 13). I got a good deal of trivia from www.bitsofblueandgray.com/trivia. I only scratched the surface so go and see all the stuff there.

1. What was Major Gen. William L. Jackson’s nickname?

2. What was the “Alligator”?

3. What disease did President Lincoln contract right after the Gettysburg Address?

4. What general owned a slave, yet chose not to sell him when he needed money. He instead gave the slave his freedom?

5. How many cannon in a union battery?

6. What were “fireballs” in the south?

7. What/who was a dragoon?

8. What did General “Jeb” Stuart’s nickname, “Jeb,” mean?

9. When Marion Rangers organized in 1861, a famous author joined as a lieutenant, but left, having fired only one hostile shot during the war, before it was mustered into Confederate service. Who was he?

10. What was the nickname for raw recruits during the war?

Ahh finally the new TT. Basic and is about mountains. I want to, beforehand, explain why I don’t put out Trivia Times more often. You have to wade through hundreds of pages and facts (which some are inaccurate as embarrassingly shown in the one on U.S. Presidents) And find the 10 that I need. It was much easier when I only needed 5 but now I do 10. And then when you get a fact you have to research it. Then if it seems to contradict common knowledge I have to discard that question entirely. Because I have conflicting reports and I have commonly seen common knowledge be wrong. I have a book of trivia that would make my life easier but I have seen inaccuracies therefore making the entire book possibly invalid. It’s become extremely hard to assure information because of the internet. All this and more makes it greatly frustrating. That is why I don’t put up stuff more often. But enough of that. Now for the questions.

1. What is the highest mountain in the 48 continental United States?

2. What is the second highest mountain in the world is located on the border of which two countries?

3. What is the highest peak in Australia?

4. What is the highest peak of Spanish territory?

5. What is Antarctica’s highest point?

6. And Europe’s highest peak?

7. Who was the first person to reach the summit of Mt. Everest?

8. What is the deadliest mountain?

9. Who stayed longest on the top of mount Everest?

10. How and where on the mountain did aforementioned record holder (question 9) die?

Well answers will come NEXT Saturday and a new TT will come on the Saturday after that (maybe). Post your answers in the comments and you can comment on this puzzle after I put the answers out.
